Burning Permits
Any person planning a controlled fire is advised to notify the Grafton Municipal Administration Office at 905-349-2822 to supply the appropriate documentation as required by the By-Law #95-2001.

SHELTER OF HOPE WINTER HOURS
As of November 1, 2011 the Shelter of Hope's hours of operation will be:
Monday to Friday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Sundays and Holidays - office will be closed
The Animal Control Services are not affected and will continue to receive inquiries and calls up to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and Emergency calls after 5:00 p.m. and on Weekends and Holidays.

Employment Services in the Northumberland Area Watton Employment Services Inc. is a new way for the citizens of Northumberland County to seek employment or employees. The service works with employers to find the right person for the job, and with those seeking work to connect them to the right employment opportunity.

On Wednesdays, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. their Roseneath office is open at the Alnwick Civic Centre, with counselors available to help with resumes, cover letters and job searches.
