Centreton Community Hall
2363 County Road #23
The Centreton Community Centre has gone through numerous changes and updates over the past few years, always in the spirit of improving the Hall for the community.
The flourescent lighting has been changed over to high-efficiency and the kitchen has been renovated and it completely mould free. The ceiling and east wall have been insulated to new standards, the kitchen has been repainted, new vinyl flooring, two new gas cooking ranges. The hall also has a new co-ed washroom, accessible entrance and automatic doors. The Council and the Centreton Hall Group have undertaken a huge task and have done a fantastic job of breathing new life into a community landmark.
Over the last few years the Centreton Hall Group has undertaken a few projects and causes that have made huge differences. They have replaced the Hall's tables and chairs as well as reconditioning the dance floor. The group also donated $1000 to the cemeteries board.
The library attached to the hall has been completely renovated over the last few years and adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the centre's community focus.
The Bell
The bell is a tribute from the former church. As it was, the bell had lost its glory and needed rejuvenation. Hard work and determination revived the state of the bell and it is now proudly presented in a place of honour for all of Centreton to see.
