The new location served as a school house for decades until it was closed in 1966.
The next year the surrounding community joined efforts and purchased the building to stand as a community centre.
A local committee operated the community centre until the mid-1990s when it was handed over to the township.
In 1999 a few of the Vernonville villagers went back to council and asked if a local committee could once again take over
operations of the hall. Since then the hall has been open year round.
The centre hosts euchre every second and fourth Friday of the month(only the second Friday in December). The hall has been rented
for bridal showers, baby showers, anniversaries, family reunions, birthday parties, small weddings, Christmas dinners, church functions, and funerals.
More volunteers are always welcomed and appreciated.

Total Body Challenge (Indoor Boot Camp)
8 Week Session: strength, cardio and flexibility exercises - classes will run from March 5 to April 27th, 2012 - Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 5pm. Information & registration February 15th from 4-6pm at the Vernonville Community Hall - Cash Only please. Class size is limited.
Easter Egg Hunt

2nd Annual Fitness Wednesday
Starting July 4, 2012 at the Vernonville Community Centre - offering 2 hrs. of "get active" activities for children from
4-14yrs. - Cost is $40 for the 8 week session and will be held rain or shine. August 29th will celebrate the completion of Fitness Wednesdays with a barbeque.
Registration will take place on June 6 from 6-8pm at the VCC (Family discounts for 3 or more children at the same address)
