2019 Draft Zoning By-Law




The Corporation of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand is updating their Zoning By-Law pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990,
C.P. 13 as amended. The Township will be holding a Public Open House to allow the public to review and ask questions regarding the draft Zoning

                                                                                         The Purpose of the Public Open House
The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand completed an update to its Official Plan which took effect December 22, 2015. Following the update to the Official
Plan,the Zoning By-law document is also proposed to be updated in order to conform to the Official Plan. The current Zoning By-law was approved on
August 25, 2010.A Zoning By-law is a tool used to regulate the use of land, buildings and structures; and, the placement of buildings and structures
within the Township. A copy of the draft Zoning By-law and mapping schedules will be available for public review and comment. The Public Open
House will include an informal walkabout of exhibits and opportunity for the public to ask questions to the Township's Senior Planner regarding the
