Compositon of the Board
Section 33 (5) of the Police Service Act states that The Board will consist of five (5) members, composed of:
- two persons who are members of the Council of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand;
- one person appointed by agreement of the Council of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, who is neither a member of council nor an employee of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand; and
- two persons appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand Police Services Board is a five member Board and the purpose of the Board, on behalf of the residents of the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand is to provide civilian oversight to the activities of the Ontario Provincial Police.

Members: The Township of Alnwick/Haldimand's Police Services Board consists of five members. Two members are Municipal Council appointees (Mayor John Logel and Deputy Mayor Gail Latchford), one Municipal community appointee (Richard Szymczyk), and two public appointees (Janet Irvine and Lorne Aronson).
Meetings: The Board meets on the last Friday of each month at 3:30 p.m. at the Municipal Administration Office at 10836 County Road #2, Grafton, Ontario.
